Build Wealth and Freedom thru Franchise Ownership

Franchise ownership, means more wealth and freedom. Create the life that you want through franchise business ownership.

CORTZ is a specialized, mobile sports court resurfacing and construction franchise built on nearly three decades of hands-on industry experience. Franchisees serve residential, commercial, and public clients by constructing, repairing, resurfacing, and maintaining game courts for the nation’s most popular sports — pickleball, tennis, basketball, and padel — all from a branded service truck and team.

The sports court services market is booming, and CORTZ is positioned squarely at the center of it. Pickleball alone has become the fastest-growing sport in America, with over 36 million players nationwide and 130 new play locations opening every month according to USA Pickleball’s Places2Play. CORTZ franchisees tap into this surging demand by providing professional court resurfacing, repair, striping, netting installation, and new court construction for indoor and outdoor courts of all kinds .

CORTZ operates as a home-based, mobile franchise model — franchisees run their business from a branded, wrapped white pickup truck rather than a leased storefront. This design keeps overhead minimal and allows franchisees to serve a broad geographic territory. Each Operating Unit (OU) consists of one branded service truck and a team of up to four people. Franchisees who grow their operation can add additional OUs within their Designated Territory, effectively scaling their business without opening new storefronts.

The franchise system is built on the foundation of First Serve Productions, Inc. — the operating affiliate run by CORTZ founder and CEO David Klembith since 1997. That means franchisees are not stepping into an untested concept; they’re adopting a documented system refined over 29 years of active industry experience. CORTZ became a franchise offering in March 2024, making it an early-mover opportunity in a niche service sector that lacks a dominant national brand.

Training and support are built into the investment from day one. CORTZ provides a comprehensive two-week initial training program at their Auburn, California headquarters, covering everything from court preparation and surface application to sales protocols, marketing plan development, and business operations. Training for the franchisee and one crew member is included in the initial franchise fee, with no additional charge for training more team members at time of initial enrollment.

Ongoing support includes telephone and email advisory services, proprietary franchise management software (FranTools by FranchiseInc!), CRM, LMS, lead referral management, social media ad design resources, and bidding tools — all included in a monthly media and tech fee of $249. Franchisees are listed on the CORTZ website and benefit from branded marketing assets, with national advertising programs to be phased in as the system grows.

CORTZ also offers a built-in multi-unit growth pathway. Franchisees who commit to the Multi-Unit Development Agreement (MUDA) receive a 20% discount on each additional unit’s franchise fee ($40,000 vs. $50,000), with the ability to develop up to four additional units. Veterans and First Responders receive this same 20% discount on their first unit as a recognition of their service. The royalty structure is also tiered — 6% on gross sales up to $1,000,000, dropping to 4% on sales over that threshold annually.
